Oleksandr Usyk kept his place at the top of boxing with a dramatic of Rico Verhoeven in Giza. The fight took place near the Pyramids, giving the night a historic setting and a strange sense of risk. Verhoeven, better known as a dominant kickboxing champion, made only his second professional boxing appearance, but he pushed Usyk much harder than many fans expected.
